Re: HP Envy - Audio problem- Sudden stop of audio

Hi,
1. Please write your notebook product number (p/n).

    Resource:

How to Locate the Notebook product number (p/n)

2. Go to:

Control Panel -> Devices Manager -> Audio, Video and Games Controllers

and find there IDT audio card. Click on it with right button of your mouse and choose ' Properties '.
Select ' Driver ' tab and post here which driver version you see there.

Re: HP Envy - Audio problem- Sudden stop of audio

I also have a similar audio problem. My HP Envy 2070nr is only one week old and I get no audio output through the main speakers only through my headphones. I updated the audio drivers which didn't solve the problem.

Product Number: LV046UA#ABA

Driver Versions:

IDT High Definition Audio CODEC - 6.10.6328.0

ATI High Definition Audio Device - 7.11.0.7706

                           Intel(R) Display Audio - 6.14.0.3074

                           Bluetooth Hands-free Audio - 6.3.0.6150

Regards.

@ncatt14

Hi,

If I were you then I would return this model to the shop and ask them to exchange it for another of the same model, other Envy model or refund if they do not have any of this choices.
