Re: Pavilion dm1-3080la Headphones and speakers problem

I updated the BIOS but it didn’t solve the problem, other thing that I saw it’s that when the error that I described happens the IDT audio panel is recognizing the headphones as a mic.

Best regards.

Re: Pavilion dm1-3080la Headphones and speakers problem

Just a doubt. There are two version of drivers available, 32 bit and 64 bit. Have you installed the correct version of driver? Also, does your headphone set include a MIC, If yes, then please connect both the Ausio and MIC cable to the respective jacks and see if the issue persists.

Yes i downloaded the 32-bit drivers that are correct for my case, and no mi headphones don't have a mic set, they are just in-ear earphones(Etymotic research mc5 BTW) ,

Best regards.

Re: Pavilion dm1-3080la Headphones and speakers problem

I have a pair of questions, it seem that the problem originates from de IDT audio software so, Is there any way to use other software for audio?, and is there a way to totally deactivate the external mic so the IDT at least stop recognizing headphones as a mic?.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Pavilion dm1-3080la Headphones and speakers problem

I think this is some software problem

I have the same plus screen blink when switching between mic and headphones or external speakers

its not hapening all the time

sometimes is ok and sometimes every second is change

on the control panel are two jacks output and in notebook is only one combo

witch make me thinking is not compatibile

I try deactivate external mic and its not help at all

Re: Pavilion dm1-3080la Headphones and speakers problem

I have a DM1 notebook and having the same problems as described above.

Only single audio jack and IDT control panel seems to have problems dealing with this so that it switches between mic and headphone input at random and so sound will come out of speakers or headphones at random, or sometimes both. The control panel

Have updated drivers, bios ...  and seems to have made it worse.  Was initially only doing it sometimes and now doing it all the time
