Re: QUICK PLAY BUTTONS NOT WORKING

@Topsie and ole,

Did it work ever before for You both?

Which system are You using now.

Can You discribe which lights are on? All or only this which You push? What kind of color lights on them?

Re: QUICK PLAY BUTTONS NOT WORKING

I use Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit) Service Pavk 1. The mute button, Volume control button and other buttons doesn't work. Actually they never work properly. Sometimes they start working after few hours working on laptop but when you restart the pc they stop working. I have tried to update BIOS but it didn't help. Have updated the Quick Launch Button drivers, the result was the same. The problem might be in Operting system. The HP Pavilion dv7-2030er is new and ican't find Firmware drivers.

Re: QUICK PLAY BUTTONS NOT WORKING

@Topsie

HP Quick Launch>>http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp39001-39500/sp39425.exe

You might also try a hard reset, works sometimes.Disconnect all external devices first.

1-remove power cord and battery

2-press power button for 30 seconds

3-reinstall only power cord for first startup.

4-power on
