I accidentally uninstalled my PC audio and IDT audio drive. When I tried to reinstall the IDT audio driver, I got this message. Please help me. My laptop model is HP ENVY dv4-5313tx running on windows 8. Thanks.

Hi Karthik,
Mine is Pavilion g6 1301-tx laptop with windows 7 64bit.In my case the audio driver got uninstalled automatically.I checked for IDT driver in device manager and its was not there. So i tried to install the driver that i downloaded from HP site. But it gave the same error as "The hardware detected is not supported by this IDT software package".I had posted a new question, but there were no response.I came across this post and it seemed you solved the issue. Please help me in this.

Can you provide a new link for the 1st link. It now redirects to HP home page.
