Hi,

Try installing the IDT driver on the following link.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56501-57000/sp56803.exe

When the installation has completed, restart the nottebook.

Hi,

Open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and expand Sound Video and Game controllers.  Right click the IDT device and select Properties.  Select the driver tab and then click on 'Roll back drive'.

When this completes, restart the notebook.

Do you now have audio?
