volume control not visible

How do you get the volume control to reappear after is no longer appears in the bottom of the screen,

If your running Windows 7, the steps are shown below:

 

 

Enable Windows 7’s Volume Icon

  1. Right-click an empty space on the taskbar (the bar with the Start Orb and clock) and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Customizebutton in the Notification area section of the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.

  3. Click Turn system icons on or offat the bottom left of the Notification Area Icons window.

  4. Set the Volume icon’s behavior to On and then click OKto save the changes.
