Administrator problems

My browser is not supported for thr FAFSA on my son's college information.....I have lost my favorites...and I cannot respond to websites due to the fact that it says I am not the administrator... What has happened? what did I perhaps touch wrong besides installing GOGGLE Earth, then uninstalling? I cannot use this laptop for any applications other than reading email. PLEASE HELP ME!
