Hi,

 

I have a HP Pavilion laptop DV6500.  I haven't used the laptop in a few years, and like others have forgotten the bio password.  The message I get after the third failed attempt is "System Disabled [13519]"

 

Please help!!!

I have an old HP Pavilion PV6000 with a forgotten system password (bios).  The code that it gives me after several failed attempts is 04293.  Can you give me the code to unlock it?

Use that code to go into the BIOS.

Disable all passwords that are enabled.

If asked for the CURRENT password uses that code.

If asked for NEW password just hit enter.

If asked to VERIFY password just hit enter.

Save and exit.

How would I be able to get through the user accounts of the previous owner without the password. It has windows 7 and am only able to use the computer in guest mode currently and I wasn't able to get my GMA's password from her before she passed... I've read a few different ways to gain access to the administrator account but am unable to do so operating in guest mode only since it has so many restrictions and so few permissions for use. I don't care to access any of the info I just wanna be able to create my own and delete everything on there... Would I be able to get a copy of the operating system to format and reinstall the genuine Windows operating system that it came with? In guest mode I keep gettin a popup that says my copy isn't genuine when it came already installed at the store...
