BIOS RECOVERY FAILURE

my notebook (compaq presario cq57-366sa) tried to do a bios recovery update & failed and now won't switch on.  I have tried followed the online support, but this hasn't worked

You could try a 3rd party repair facility like aqstech.com for a BIOS repair. I believe they charge around $100 bucks for the repair.
