BOOTMGR is Missing

Help! I have a Compaq Presario CQ62 Laptop running Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit and when I turn it on I get an error message that says "BOOTMGR is Missing" I have no idea what to do now.

Turn on your computer and tap F8 until you see the HP or Compaq logo. At the menu that appears, select "Repair your computer". At the next menu select, "open command prompt".

When you are at the command prompt, type "bootrec" without the quotations then follow the steps listed in this microsoft article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392
