Bios administrator password reset on Probook 6560b

[ Edited ]

Hi, i forgot my administrator password for bios access for my HP Probook 6560b. It seems that model doesn't show any code after locking the system, so I dont know what to do. I tried to reset cmos, but it didn't give any positive result. Can you help me with this issue?

If that helps, my uuid is: E6876482C674E011B1372E623401807C and the serial number is {Personal Information Removed}.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Bios administrator password reset on Probook 6560b

Ska.

6560b is not on my list yet.

I used the 6550b.

Lets see if it works.

I will PM you the file you need to run.

Put the file on any flash/thumb drive.

Tap F8 when booting your computer and choose SAFE MODE WITH COMMAND PROMPT.

Insert flash/thumb drive.

At c:

Type f: and hit enter. "The f: is on my 6930p it maybe different for yours."

Then run the file I send you.

It may seem like alot to do but Its not.

I will continue to refine this but I need input from others.
