Dv6500 CTO Entertainment notebook: HP Recovery Partition drive is installation is failed.

Hi

 

i am using dv6500 CTO Entertainment notebook. when i am trying to recover the vista software using my recovery discs, which is not able to create factory setting/mirror in a D:\  drive. recovery discs are creating the partion drive(D:\ drive) but its failed to create an mirror in it. It is very difficult for me to use the discs to do recovery every time.

 

kindly provide the solution.

Do you still have the sata type as raid and did you set the raid as raid 1 (mirror) in the bios?

i could not understand the solution..kindly provide the detail solution. how do i set the sata type as raid1? provide the step by step procedure will help me to go easily.
