My HP Compaq TC1100 Video card went bad so I purchased an HP Compaq TC4200 Tablet as a replacement, I bought it on ebay and the seller has loaded it with Windows XP Pro, I think it has a Windows XP Tablet COA (I have not recieved it yet so I don't know the COA, but it's a tablet so I'm figuring its a Tablet COA), My question is can I download a copy of an HP TC4200 XP Tablet recovery disc from a site like Torrant for my TC4200, legally?

HP is fairly liberal with you sourcing recovery media from other websites, I don't think it is an issue.
If you don't feel comfortable with another source, order recovery discs form HP
You can order HP recovery media at the link below, or call HP on the phone to order 1-800-474-6836
If HP no longer has Recovery Media for your model, order them here

Yes the COA on the HDD cover should read Tablet.
We get a lot of TC4200's and TC4400's.
TC4400: Core Duo
When you get the laptop go to system properties and see what OS you are running.
Let us know.
