Hi,
I was wondering if you guys could help me out..
Here's the problem..
I was having some problems with my HP Compaq nc8000 laptop, so I used a WindowsXP Pro installation CD and wiped the whole thing. Not the original CD, because I don't have it.
Then, I realized all the HP got wiped too. I couldn't access the internet. I looked through and found out that I needed to install this driver. And luckily, the internet is working now.
Now, what I want to know is, what other hp drivers do I need to install?
btw, I'm a total noob concerning the computer stuff. Ok, well, not completely but somewhat. So, I would really appreciate it
if you explain it in 'english' and not in computer language lol.
Oh, and one more thing. I have another HP Compaq nc8000 laptop and I want to wipe and start anew. And like I said, I don't have the original CD. So, Is there any way for me to get a CD? Or someplace I can download it?
Thanksabunches :-)

Look in the device manager (start, run, devmgmt.msc) for any yellow or red marks next to devices. If there is a question mark, exclaimation point, or X, then there is a problem and you need to reinstall the driver for the device.
Definately look into free antivirus, like Avast!.
The HP cd's cost money IIRC.
