Hi, I have an HP Probook 4720s, Product WQ426LA#ABM that is somewhat new, only one year of use. A few hours ago, the HP software utility that came with my system indicated that I had one critical update pending, the BIOS neded to be updated. I accepted and it started to download and then install it, it finished saying everithing was OK, but it needed to restart the computer.
After closing all my aplications I accepted and windows started to shutdown, but it never got back, the Laptop didn't turned on well, it just started blinking the Power button, power cable, HD, BD drive and wireless lights every two seconds. No fans, no drive spin, no screen, nothing.
What can I do? I trusted not only HP's message that my BIOS needed critical updating, but also HP's updating tool that said everything installed OK.
Is there a way to undo the BIOS update or at least reinstall the previous version (or a correct one) somehow, maybe froma USB or CD?
