So I feel that my HP Pavilion dv6-6003tx is going a bit on the slow side. If I use the recovery partition by HP, will it delete my Windows 7 OS? Thanks!

Recovery will format the C; drive and reinstall everything back to factory shipped state.

i think the windows 7 was pre-installed. so it was included in the back up?
