HP_TOOLS partition full - Win7 complains

Hello 

My 2GB HP_TOOLS partition is full. This makes a annoying popup show periodically in Windows 7.

 

- Why is it full?

- I guess that if it is full, it will not be useable for recovery (missing data). So I could as well remove it (or should I increase its size).

 

What is recommended?

Something is wrong, either you or a program is storing data there that should not be.

 

Can you see what files are in the partition?

It seems that windows was automatically doing backups on that partition.

 

I have disabled automatic backup and removed the backup files. 

Now everything is fine.
