How to Reinstall Windows XP on Compaq Mini CQ10?

Hi,

I've lost all data on  my Compaq Mini CQ10-110SL. I need reinstall Windows XP Home but I'havent original installation CD and the CQ10 has not a recovy hidden partition. How restore windows xp? If i uses another windows cd  and use the registration key under the laptop , the  windows registration don't work! :smileysad:

Call HP and order Recovery kit of your Notebook which would have OS and factory shipped software which went with the notebook. You will get recovery kit for a nominal charge of 15$-25$ depending on type of shipping
