How to reset my HP G60 to Factory Settings???

Originally a Vista notebook. Got a free upgrade to Win7. Upgrade went flawlessly. 

3 Days ago (Mar 1,2012), i installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview. It screwed up my notebook. The only way to revert this 

upgrade is a complete recovery.

Any tips on how to reset to its original settings?

Most important : Will the reset go back to Vista????

Hi,

 

Do you still have the original Recovery partition ? If Yes, using F11 at booting time, follow instructions from screen. This will bring you back to Vista, you can then use the free Windows 7 DVD to upgrade from Vista to Windows 7.

 

Please also check to see your free Windows 7 DVD is an upgrade DVD or a clean install (I have to recover back to Vista on my machine).

hi
i also have a vista that i upgraded to windows 7 and
every time i press F11 it doesnt go to the factory setting window . it jut logs me in normally .
