I went to the site you proposed above, REO51ST & following their tips got it. It turned out to be very simple indeed: ooi. It even looks stupid.

The solution is like the arrival of the problem in the first place. I had read that one shouldn't use three wrong pwds in a row because the system would get locked, but I did it anyway...

I was trying to set it for letting me boot a linux live cd but it goes to PXE LAN booting. Any advise on this?

There's a thunderstorm nearby & have been trying for the past 20 mins to post the following in its own thread but the website isn't cooperating: doesn't post it & tells me of an improper html something...

...posted (for the same machine you helped me with) the following but until now haven't received a response:
