I own the HP Envy 17-3000 and i got a virus and it disabled my drivers. I decided to do a system revocery and it says its progress is 17% complete and quickly says its finished. I click finish and it still doesnt function properly. It says "windows fails to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:.............." please help. Idk how to do any of the rest.

Hi Fiddelg,
Are you using the Recovery Manager via the hard drive and F11 key or the Recovery disk or USB media that you created to accomplish the recovery?

It fails to fully recover. I did press f11 and attempted to fix that several times. I ordered a recovery disk tho if that helps?
