Presario CQ56-219WM
Windows 7
I turn the computer on and before I can even attempt to log in, it says the password or username was incorrect, and when I press 'ok' it shows that it has reverted back to the old User, kiosk, the demo user for the store I bought it from.
I just want to restart the computer and put it back to its orginal settings, as it was before it got to the store. Is there anyway to do this without being able to log in?
I have contacted the store, and it won't let them log into the computer using the password either, and my user account is gone.
any help would be very much appreciated.

Is the computer asking for a password at the Windows login screen, or before that?
If the problem is a Windows password, you can recover the system to its original factory settings by tapping F11 as you start the pc and selecting 'system recovery' from the options in the Recovery Manager. This will reformat the system and any data you have on it will be lost but you can start over with a clean system. This document will give you more details on the recovery process: System Recovery.
If the password is requested before Windows starts loading, the password is set in the BIOS. You will need to take your notebook into an HP authorized service center to have that password reset. It won't affect your data, however.
