I'm working with a Pavilion dv7-6166nr with 64-Bit Windows 7 Home Premium with SP-1. It's running the AMD Radeon HD 6480G Graphics Card with 1 HDMI and 1 VGA video outputs available. The 17" LED received an unreplairable crack rendering it 92% disabled in the 1st round with my Husky. How can I activate one of the other two video outputs outside of a Windows enviroment. I've tried the F4 button on the laptop keyboard with and without the fn depressed. I've tried the same on the external keyboard with and without the lid closed. Someone suggested the Alt. button with the P button useful in Linux but apperently not Windows compatible. Please help so I may begin repairing the end results of round two.
