my notebook is out and i need resore disc to take back to initial conditions (default hp settings).
I've lost my discs so i'm searching for drivers. Where i can faind it ?

I doubt that HP will have XP recovery disks for that model anymore but you can call them for the country you live in at the link below. Call the number listed for business PC's notebooks.
Have the model number and serial number handy to give to the customer services rep.

i've tried to search my notebook but number don't match.
Maybe they have only US State product (i'm writing from Italy).
I've find italian assistance, they want 80€ :-(
other solutions ? :-)

8 april Microsoft will stop patching for Windows XP. So i wuold like to install windows 7
to my notebook /HP compaq 6910p).
It is possible ?

Yes it is.
HP provides support and windows 7 drivers on the 6910p support and driver page.
I once had a 6910p running windows 7 64 bit.
Worked just fine.

You will have to install most of them, except as follows...
Your model will either have an Intel or AMD grpahics adapter so just install the one driver you need for that.
Make a note of the wireless card in your notebook's device manager now, and you only need to install the HP Wireless Assistant and the wireless card driver for the model wireless card your notebook uses.
What you can do after installing the obvious drivers you need, is to post the hardware ID's for any device you can't seem to find the driver for, and I will post the links to the drivers you need.
I know the 6910p blindfolded so I should be able to help you with any driver issues you have.
Use this guide as an example for how to find the hardware ID for a device needing drivers.
