I have a dv6604cl laptop and a few months ago the hard drive died on me. I am using Windows Vista 32-bit, and realized I cannot use my HP System Recovery Disc to install windows once I had bought a new HDD for it. How can I work around this problem? I still have the key located on the bottom of the laptop. Is there a way to install windows vista on it again through my key instead of having to buy a new copy? I have seen the cyberlink links for win7 but I heard those recovery disc can be used to install windows as well. Is there any install only discs or recovery discs I can order that will allow me to install windows vista along with my system recovery or with my genuine key?

You can order a set of DVD's (called Recovery Dics set) from the following link:
HP may charge you a small amount of money to cover P&H.
