Hi,
I have an touchsmart tx2z 1000, which used to crash due to some heating up and at times, for no good reason ! Today, if crashed when it was not running hot and now it wont boot any more Neither F8 or F2 work and the recovery CD does not even load s I donot get a promt.
Upon a clen boot, I sometimes get an instant flash of the very initial image and then windows never loads and I get a blank/grey screen.. only the lights come on.
Wjat could the problem be and how likely is it that it can be fixed ?.. and how much wuld it cost ?
Thanks,
See-ya-mak

I would suggest attempting to do a hard reboot to see if that helps first. Otherwise you might be able to do a system recovery from the partition which doesn't cost anything but remember you will lose any data that isn't backed up do a recovery.
