Presario CQ62 laptop will not boot - goes to black screen w/white blinking cursor

My Presario CQ62 (Product # XG958UA#ABA) passed all HP Advanced System Diagnostics (Version 3.7.0.0) but will not boot.

Windows 7 OS

What should I try now?

Passed System Diagnostics - it boot to bios successfully, right?

The next is try boot to Windows safe mode, by  press and hold the F8 key as your computer starts.

It will not boot in Safe Mode.

Each time I push the button to turn it on, I get a very brief black screen, then a brief orange screen with the C logo and instructions to Press the ESC for Start-Up menu, and then goes back to the black screen with the blinking white cursor.

Got one doing the same thing, passes all test will not allow safe boot to come up

 

tried to boot to cdrom no luck
