Recovery Disc mistake

Hi, I have a HP dv7 Notebook PC with windows 7 just purchased. The other day I went to make recovery discs and had to abort the process at the early stages as I only had DVDRW discs which it wouldn't accept. Now when I try to go back to create the discs it's telling me I can only create ONE set of recovery discs and won't let me go any further. What can I do? The computer was clever enough to tell me I had the wrong kind of discs but it's not clever enough to realise that I never got to make the discs I needed. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi,

Call HP ( the telephone number can be found on the relevant link below ) and explain that the Recovery Media Creator is unable to create a viable set of Recovery Discs and request that they send you a free replacement set of these discs.

Hello there, Thanks very much for that. When I rang it turned out that I hadn't actually put the disc in so it was just waiting for a response from me (ind=serting a suitable disc) rather than refusing to make the discs at all. I'm an idiot, but a grateful one
