Hi there! I've got HP Pavilion dv6-6b57er with 1 Tb harddrive and i want to split it into 2 logical disks, so the question is: after doing this will i be able to make recovery media disk? i guess, it's on the flash/ssd or something, but im not sure.

Hi,
I would definitely make your set of Recovery Discs first before trying to partition the HDD - details on how to do this can be found on the following link.
Creating Recovery Discs - Windows 7.
Also, you may want to read the guide by Daniel_Potyrala on the link below regarding partitioning the HDD.

You should make recovery disk before splitting parition to prevent data loss or you can split partiiton with some software like Partition Assistant with data security ensured.
