Recovery bios password

I let my brother borrow my laptop not sure if he thought it would be funny but he set a password on the bios. I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is that he set it to. I have a compaq presario cq61. After entering the wrong password in three times I'm receiving code: System Disable Key: 85689348. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Hi, I bought a new HP G62 laptop and used it two or three times. It sat on my shelf for about one year. I wanted to give it to my wife and the battery was dead. After I plugged it in it now says Enter Admin Password or Power on Password. I never saw this screen before. After giving HP all my info for proof of ownership including email,  they wanted $297 to fix it. I only paid $499 brand new. I read here if I give the 8 digit code, someone could help. The proof of ownership is no problem.

The System Disable code is {removed for privacy}. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks for getting back to me. I was so mad at HP for trying to charge me $297.00 for no reason, I hacked in and got all there codes. I'm all set thanks so much. If I can help anybody let me know. Now it's time fix my HP printer!

I have an issue with my laptop having a bios password. Bought it from a HP reseller but HP would not help me when I called them. Can you tell me how you hack into the bios?

How the heck do I know. I have no clue. I mentioned that we hacked the codes. Most of your guys already have the site. If you don't have it, I can't give it to you. I myself did not get the codes, a friend of mine who had the passwords for this one site gave it to me. I typed in the 8 digit code and was instantly back in. If you have one

I will gladly help you. BTW, he tells me he's seen the link a few times on the net.

1. For HP Mini look for Hewlett-Packard/Compaq Netbooks 10 characters click on Windows binary.

2. For 5 digits look for Hewlett-Packard 5 decimal click on Windows Binary.

3. For 8 digits look for Insyde H20 8 decimal click on Windows Binary.

Download then run.
