Return to factory settings question?

I need to do a restore to factory settings on my ProBook 4530s, and was wondering if doing so would delete the Windows7 that came installed on it. The laptop is 6 months old ad I bought it new.

Hi,

 

Performing a recovery will take your system to factory settings i.e it'll be like the first day when you got the system from HP. It'll still have Windows 7 installed on but any additional programs and files that you added after purchasing it will be lost.

It is now saying that it can't connect to my wireless router... it's never done this before...

As Recovery was performed on the computer you may have to setup the wireless connection again with the router. You can follow the link below to setup the wireless connection again:
