I have a G62-347NR Notebook.
In going to tell my mother good uni news, I tripped, and the screen is completely shot, with black ink swells all over the place and lines of various colours covering the rest. While the physical screen remains in tact, in ink behind it is not.
My warrarenty is up, and I have a lot of unbacked up material on my computer. How might I go about salvaging any of the data, and is HP, or anyone else, likely able to fix my computer screen? Or am I simply in need of another computer?
Thank you

There are many places that offer LCD replacement. The repair facility HERE has proven to be a reliable source. A friend of mine recently used their service and was very pleased.
