Status : 0xC0000225-----HP G72-250US Notebook PC---- Windows 7 (64bit)

Status : 0xC0000225

Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.

The above info was displayed and hangs in there

I tried to boot through HP Recovery Disk,

Windows is loading files...

Starting Windows Icon appears

And a blank screen with a cursor, and hangs in there.

I tried to get in to to System Dignositics and not able to get in there

I tried to perform Hard Disk test at BIOS setting, it starts and hangs there.

Any help would be appriciated.

Hi

Please reseat the Hard drive on the unit and run the test again if it is freezing the issue is with Hard drive you might have to replace the part.

If your notebook is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange to have the drive replaced.

If you are out of warranty and would like a guide on replacing the Hard Drive yourself, please let me know.

Hi

As i understand the issue seems to be with the Hard drive you need to replace it then install the operating system back on the unit then the unit will work fine the part number and there in the manual itself.
