HP Pavilion dm4 Model dm4-1265dx
Windows 7
'System Restore has Stopped Working'
I am not aware of any system changes made prior to this occurrence
Windows 7 stopped working and I made restore disks from the bios. I ma trying to restore my data and I get an error message stating the restore has stopped working mid-way through the 2nd disc. The system made 5 disks in total.
I was able to restore the operating system and everything is working fine, I just can't seem to get my data to restore from the disks.
Any ideas?

I believe I have same problem. I have HP2000-412NR w/ Win7. I created recovery disk 1 fine but #2 failed disk verification. So after ruining multiple DVD-r's thinking it was disk problem, I did factory restore and was able to make #2 successfully and #3 failed on verification. Don't know if they will actually do what they're supposed to do or not but don't have enough dvd's to keep it up. Only thing on disk after failure is DATA.bin around 3gb in size. Hope someone can help, thanks.
