I am having issues restoring my G62 laptop back to factory conditions. One of the first things I did upon receiving my laptop was creating restore disks. I followed the instructions and the program created 4 disks. Now I am trying to restore and the issue is that the restore procedure is asking me for a 5th disk! The worst part is that since I have already started the process and got to nearly the end, I now have a laptop that will not boot! My computer is "out of warranty" and HP is saying that I will have to pay to get assistance. Any suggestions?

best thing to do is order a recovery disc set for your model
You can order HP recovery media here, or call HP on the phone to order 1-800-474-6836

If HP no longer has Recovery Media for your model, order them here
