If this was the test for the hard drive, I would replace the hard drive with a new one, then use recovery discs to re-install Windows.

You mean i have to replace my hard disk and run the recovery cd again? And it will be back to factory setting?

Hi, I had replaced the hard disk. But the problem remains. This time, it ran through cd 2 till 66%. then, error message appeared. How now?

Oh yes..... I restart again and use the recovery from hard disk. Sucessful !!!!!!! Thank you vey much for guiding me this few days. You are the best . Regards, LEE

Oh man. What a fool. The windows setup was smooth at the beginning. Later, after auto restart, it appeared error message saying what "icopanic" ? And required to reinstall the windows. I have been restarting and restarting with recovery cd 1. Cannot run from hard disk anymore and stop at 16%. Oh my god....should i just send to the shop? A bit tired now. Regards, Lee
