Hi can somebody please help, I am a total computer novice, I was given hp compaq 6910p which I can't start up, I have tried the f11 key which doesn't work and I have tried using the hp boot disc but it get to a certain stage and it states hard drive not found, I have also tried the windows disc which stalls again with the same message, no drives found, I have run the hard drive self test both the short and long and they are both showing as fine, I have also checked the hard rive connections but again all fine, totally stuck!!!! Would be grateful for some help
