I have a Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX Notebook PC
I am unable to create a restore disk, or even do a restore from with in the OS. It keeps telling me "Your computer does not have a recovery partition."
I looked in the drives list, and I can see the recovery partition there as clear as day, and can see that the data is still there as well. So I know I have it, now any one know how to fix this? Please lend a friend a helping hand here, and thank you in advanced

Hi
I would suggest you to call HP Phone support and if the computer is in warranty you can ask for a set of recovery discs which would be shipped to you

It sounds as if your Recovery partition is corrupted. You can order Recovery Media from your driver/software page.Usually less than $20, sometimes free when they can't be burned.
