hp pavillion dv7 Windows 7 64bit
I ran out of battery power on my laptop computer and it stopped while I was on the internet. When the computer ran out of juice and shut down I took the battery out of my laptop and pressed the start button to get rid of any electrical problems. I placed the battery back into the computer and plugged in the charger. The compuer starts to reboot but then a screen comes on warning me the computer did not shut down properly and would I like to reboot in safemode or normal. Thus has happened before and I simply have windows reboot normally and all is fine. This time if I try to open normally or in safemode it brings me to a new screen that asks me to repair the windows file, which I do, but that option hangs up as well. The other option is going into the setup files by pushing f10. I have access to that. I could possible reboot from a USB drive. My CD drive is broken.
Can anyone help? I do have a d drive.
