Hi
The error message clearly indicates either the Hard drive or the Memory has failed on your unit you need to replace the part only then the unit will be back to it working condition.

That's just typical the thing is only 14 months old? I can't see HP fixing it on the cheap? I did get another error message which did say imminent hard drive failure. So I guess I need to replace the hard drive. I don't suppose you know what hard drive I need and the cost?

Hi
As i see you can just purcase the Hard drive from the local store or just call HP technical support and get the New Hard drive instead off the repair as the part is a customer replaceable part. Incase you need Manual to replace the part i can help you with that.

Hi, I am still in the market for a replacement hard drive for my HP G56 130SA. Does anyone have a part number? And the manual to install it please.

Hi,
The drive on the link below is an example of one that would be fine for your notebook.
The procedure to replace the Hard Drive starts on Page 37 of your Maintenance & Service Guide.
Once done, simply use your Recovery DVDs to reinstall the Operating System on the new drive - this procedure is described in the document Here.
If you don't have your Recovery Discs, you can order a replacement set using the link below.
