Do you still have the Recovery partition? If so this might work>>
1.Right-click on "Computer" icon and select manage.
2.This will launch the Microsoft Management Console.
3.On the left side of the MMC, click on "Disk Management" and it will show you all of the partitions.
4.Right-click on the "HP Recovery" partition and select "Mark as Active Partition."
5.When the warning prompt appears, select "Yes" - Reboot and it will automatically boot into the Recovery Manager.

The Recovery partition is the first partition showing in the table and 12gb.It says "Healthy (Recovery Partition)" right in the description.
For some reason it does not have a drive letter assigned. It appears that you have created a new D partition for data? I see you also have a 100mb System partition which indicates that you have installed Windows 7?
Try deleting the current D partition and ssign that letter to the 12gb recovery partition.
