recovery partition working-reg

The recovery partition is not working..when i press f11 before booting,it says failed..Once I unknowingly changed the drive letter of the recovery partition to F:\ instead of D:\.Again i changed it to D:\.but still its not working.please help me..

Does windows still boot?

 

If it does, start the recovery process from Windows using Recovery Manager.

the system recovery option in the recovery manager is faded..and it says use recovery media to recover your system..even i dont have any recovery media..even remove recovery partition is also faded and cannot be selected..
