Im not actually rich. I serve in the military. I currently own 6 hp laptops, 1 desktop, 2 cameras and 3 printers. Up until this point i was a huge HP fan. During my last deployment (iraq) i ordered a HP 2133 mini as a gift. It kept freezing and shutting down. I did research and found it was a faulty motherboard. Because of training, I have been unable to deal with this computers issues. I finally get ahold of the right department (2hrs on hold and being passed around to different departments) only to be told my warrenty was up by about a month. Because of the extenuating circumstances, I actually only had the product for less than a year. I guess its my fault I was in the middle of nowhere and didnt get my product for about 2 months after ordering. Im sympathetic to their position on my warrenty being expired. I do understand. Unfortunately that leaves me only one option now. Throw away my now useless $500 netbook and never purchase another HP product again. I cant justify buying products when I know I will never be able to get support for them because of my occupation. I cant choose when I go. I cant choose when I get back. These products make the time out there easier to deal with. I'll be going out again soon and I wish I had my netbook to take with me. I guess that will teach me to let a warrantee expire

One other thing. I paid $479 for the HP 2133. Tech support was kind enough to offer me the option to replace the motherboard for....$630.
No thank you. I think I've already paid enough.
