Product description: HP Pavilion g6-2320tx Notebook PC

operating system:windows 8

The laptop gets shut down without any prior warning despite of the fact that the battery is charged. The situations is getting worse day by day. Intially this used to happed at 35% battery but now at 88%.Now I have to use my laptop by plugging charger all the time.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks

Dear Customer,

 

Welcome and Thank You for posting your query on HP Support Forum

 

It looks like your Notebook keeps turning itself OFF without any warnings

We will surely assist you with this issue

 

Please perform the below shown steps to resolve the issue:

 

1. You should clean all the Vents and Openings really good with a can of compressed air

 

2. Check if the Fan is spinning when AC Adapter is connected

 

3. Boot into the BIOS >> System Configuration >> Device Configuration >> Enable "Fan always ON"

 

Note: Incase even after these steps if the same issue persists we need to replace the Fan
