I pressed the top left on accident, now i have tried double clicking and clicking but nothing works. Would apriciate some help!

Try going through the settings to see if something was changed or disabled, here's how to navigate throught the settings:

Troubleshooting the TouchPad

 

Something there might work, or it could be a driver problem. I'd try the above first, then if that fails, uninstall and reinstall the driver.

Hi CyberCat,

 

Quickly double tap the top left of the touchpad to turn it back on, as shown here:

I have double tapped a lot of times fast and slow... still not working? Could it be broken? its about 2 weeks old soo that would be really crappy...

Is this the same process for HPpavillion DV-5000?

Win 7Pro Just Installed Fresh

Ive redownloaded  synapsys& system states already installed. 

when i go into the device settings it is all greyed out

 

hard wired mouse worksfine i am sure usb will buy want the pad option as well
