Can I swap the FN and F-Key functionality as I don't want to disable the FN key? For instance, I want to press F3 -> F3, while FN+F3 ->increase brightness. Please advise. Thanks!

Hi,

You can change the F key/Fn+F Key combination behaviour as follows.

Shut down the notebook.  Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to enter the Start-up Menu.  Select the Bios option ( usually f10 ), then make the relevant change shown in the HP document on the following link.
