probook 455 g3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm looking to buy a probook 455 g3 to replace my old pavilion g6t that is now basically unusable.  I saw in the description of the probook that the processor is 2.2GHz but it can go up to 2.5GHz.  Is that simple enough to change when needed?  Most of the software I run requires just 2.0, but I have one program that I don't even use very often that needs 2.4.  So, is it easy to boost the speed just when I need to run that one program?  Or, do people recommend boosting the speed and leaving it that way?  Again, is this something that is easy to do?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

MRE.

You will not need to do anything to adjust the speed.

Turbo Frequency does it automatically.

2.2 GHz and Turbo Frequency 2.5 GHz.

REO,

Thanks so much for that quick and helpful reply!  Now, I can order my new laptop with confidence it will meet the system requirements of all the software I have.

Thanks again!
