HP SPS: 464793-002 IR Remote with Windows 7

I just upgraded to Windows 7 Pro from Vista Home Premium. I was able to get most of my drivers to work; however, I was not able to find th edrivers/software for my IR remote control. Has anyone else figured this issue out, or what drivers/software I should get fix the error? Thank you.

i got 3 PCI dispositives that are without drivers

Mi computer:

HP  Pavillion dv4 1145go

To get the remote to work on Win7 you need to install the CIR driver. Check the driver download page for your product for the appropriate Win7 driver.

If a Win7 driver is not available then the Vista driver will also work

For dv4-1145go the driver is SP45214

I First try the vista drivers.

Then I install the Win 7 drivers but those dont work.

So I return to the vista drivers.

if ur remote doesnt work completely or only a few features dont work such as volume and mute, it is most likely that windows 7 does have the right drivers but the Human Interface Device Access is set to "disabled". to fix this try the following:

go to "Start Task Manager", click on the "Services " tab. on the bottom right  click on "services" and a new window should open. scroll down until you find " Human Interface Device Access", and on the "status" detail option it should be blank or set to "stopped". if it  is blank or it says nothing under "status"  you must double click on  "HUman Interface Device Access" and  on the next window that opens click on "start up" type option and select "manual", click apply and then ok. now right click on "human interface device access" and selet "start" , this should make your remote control work. if it does then set the "human interface device access" to "start up" automatically.

if the "human interface device access" is set to " stopped" on the "status" option , then all you have to do is right click on it and select "start" , after you start it , set it to start up automatically.
