My HP-DV7 will not play blu-rays.

I attempt to play a new blu ray on my computer and a message comes up that says look for updates. I click yes. The computer starts looking for an update but the message comes up again "look for updates?". This will keep repeating with no progress. I am able to play other dvds and old blu rays.

 Save Power DVD10 to the desk top and install it from there, not from a temporary folder. DVD10 is now available for HP owners.

 When installing, disable your anti virus and firewall software.

 Restart your machine after installation.

 What was the Blu-ray title that would not play with Media Smart ?

i just downloaded power dvd 10 and its not playing the bluray.

I will load my bluray power dvd 10 loads up the movie and once it loads it wont play and my laptop tells me the power dvd 10 is not responding i need you help

See this from Cyberlinks forum, there is a solution there that may be of help. You may also have to uninstall Media Smart DVD and Power DVD 10, restart and reinstall Power DVD 10.
