I just got this and it looks like it has a webcam but when I look for HP mediasmart webcam at start it doesn't have it. All it has is this cyberlink youcam and I tried to use it but it says no webcam detected and if there is an integrated camera, I have to turn it on. But it won't tell me how!! Please help, cause I must have a webcam, between the two antennas at the top is a little dot speaker on the left, next to a rectangular little thing that looks like a camera. If anyone can help, I will appreciate it so much!!

Go to the control panel and find "Imaging devices" and click on the small triangle pointed out.

 If you don't have a Web Cam, there will be no Imaging devices in the device manger.

Click on the Microsoft icon that drops down your program list.

Click on "Settings".

Click on "Control Panel"

Find "Device Manager" on the "Control Panel".

I don't know about the other user that you were talking to but I have this same laptop and I've been looking all over the internet for answers. YouCam doesn't work with the built in webcam but MediaSmart is suppose to. Long story short I've installed all updates and I can't finf MediaSmart anywhere on my computer or any prgram to works with the webcam or the webcam for that matter. I've looked everywhere for something that would help but nothing so this is the last place.
